What I cannot do

Please read before contacting me

−I cannot recommend gear for your specific route or trip, or guarantee how a product will perform in conditions I have not personally tested. That is a judgment call for you, with input from a local guide where the route is unfamiliar.
−I cannot arrange returns, refunds, or warranty claims. Those go to the retailer or the manufacturer, and I have no account access with either.
−I cannot add a product to a guide because its brand asked. Products enter a shortlist by clearing the same criteria as everything else, and no placement is for sale.
